Pune still suffers,as i am writing on the 16th of February,2009,even though the situation of the city has improved and normalcy has been restored.Fortunately and luckily none of my friends or loved ones have been injured. But still there has been 9 who are reported dead out of which 5 were foreign nationals and approximately 40 people have been injured including the waiters and the ones who used to work in the `German Bakery.
What saddens me the most is that there are a few who wants to taint our country's reputation in the global forum. But as we have seen or read in the past that hatred and treachery has always given way to love and peace. So no matter however they try they cannot break our spirit. In other words,if we go on opening our hearts to the best our nation and culture teaches us,the people who did this violence can never win.
yes...aftr all v r indians n dis is in our blood to bend dwn n close our hands in frnt of our guests..
ReplyDeleteGerman Bakery...without this place Pune is incomplete!Remember,6 years back when I came to Pune for my Post Graduation, my seniors told me that if you really want to hang out with your friends in Koregaon Park, then German Bakery is the best place!!!Believe me, it was an amazing place!Lots of sweet memories with friends were there in German Bakery.
